I’m An Island Batik Ambassador for 2020!

I’m so excited to be able to announce that I have been selected as an Island Batik Ambassador again! I can’t share my box of goodies with you until January 30, but it is definitely drool worthy. 2020 is going to be a year of gorgeous quilts.

I’ve spent some time with the calendar, and I’m really excited about the projects I have planned for this year. Our first challenge is a scrappy project to ring in the new year. If you follow me on Instagram, you can get a sneak peek of what I’m currently working on. I will be sharing the finished project this week.

This year the program was downsized, from 50 to 25 ambassadors. I’m so happy I made the cut. I know it was a very competitive group of applications – I don’t envy the job Natasha and Elizabeth had to do to choose us.

Make sure you check them all out. It is going to be an amazing year of making.

    1. Thanks, and congrats to you, too.

I don’t currently have plans for a QOV hop. Island Batik hasn’t let me know if they are up for it again. Also, I’m concerned with the direction the organization has taken recently, and I’m not sure I still want to be part of it.

      1. I don’t stay utd on them. After I submitted my quilt to be counted I received an email from a local chapter inviting me to join. As a person I do not care for the shop owner or her shop to be honest.
