I’m Teaching at StitchFest Lancaster

This is an exciting announcement for me – I’m teaching at StitchFest in Lancaster, PA in August! Seats are already filling up!

I’ll be teaching two sessions – Kawandi Style Quilting by Machine on August 4 and Kawandi Style Quilting by Hand on August 5th. I have been looking forward to this for months! You can find the class listings here. You will need to scroll down until you see my listings. I hope I get to see you there!

Make sure you check out the other teachers for this event. I’ve taken classes with Bobbie Gentili, and she is wonderful. Cindy Lohbeck will be there, and her dying classes are incredible. I’ve worked with Tammy Silvers before, and she is lovely. Now I have to decide if I want to go a day early and take a class!

I’ve taught Kawandi in person a few times now, and it is so much fun every time. I really enjoy sharing this wonderful art form with my fellow quilters. Watching what everyone makes, and seeing how some people interpret the technique is so interesting. The machine sewing session should be particularly interesting. It will be my first time teaching that.

Are you curious about Kawandi? I’ve written about it pretty extensively. You can find more info here.
