I have a pair of vintage crazy quilts that were entrusted to me by a guild member. She asked me to sell them for her – the funds will be donated to her church.
I’m going to list them on Etsy for what I believe is a fair price. They are lovely pieces, but not museum quality. The silks are beginning to shatter in many places on both pieces. They are still lovely, with a variety of interesting fabrics.
One is more discolored than the other – maybe it was actually used? Both have the same green satin backing, which has been folded over and stitched to the front as a binding.
Both quilts measure 46″ x 66″. There is also a small pillow with the quilts.
