I’ve been working diligently on my quilt – it is going to be amazing. I was playing with scraps today for a bit and I whipped up these key fobs. Even the selvages on this collection are great. I might use up all of my scraps on these – wait until you see the pile of swiss cheese I have left.
In case you are wondering, I got involved with this hop because my Mom is a Mister Domestic Super Fan. Partly joking, I reached out to him last year and explained that he is my Mom’s favorite quilter, and I’m a little jealous. I asked if I could work with him on this blog party, and he said yes! I was even able to choose my Mom’s birthday as my post date.
Fat Quarter Shop has the full collection, in case your LQS doesn’t carry them. The hand of these fabrics is amazing. It is like a cross between lawn and regular quilting cotton – the best of both worlds. Soft and smooth, but strong.
I can’t wait to share my project with you. With fabric like this to do the heavy lifting, my job is really easy. This quilt is going to be a stunner. I just hope my photography skills are up to snuff!
Those fabrics are so pretty. Looking forward to seeing what you create!
Thanks, Wendy!
Can’t wait to see your quilt. Thanks for introducing me to so many great quilting resources, Jen!!!
It’s my pleasure!
I’m going to try and talk you into bringing that key fob with the turtles to NH In April… (this is me shamelessly begging🤪🤪🤪) or one similar if you can pretty please…
Absolutely!
