The Island Batik Ambassadors are pulling out all of the stops over the next few weeks.
Each of us was given a new fabric collection in our boxes this summer. We had to keep them secret this whole time! It has been horrible. Honestly.
Starting today, we are finally able to let our fabrics out of the box. We have each created something special to showcase our fabric collections.
I was beyond thrilled with the collection chosen for me. I’ve been listening to a lot of “Spirits in the Night” by Bruce Springsteen since July. Fun fact, that I learned just recently – the lyric isn’t “where gypsy angel rose”, it is “where gypsy angels go”. There are lots of Springsteen lyrics that I sing wrong. Good thing I only sing alone.

I totally guffawed about the lyrics – I was always so bad at this. Now you can pull up lyrics and figure it out and not look so silly. And, I sing alone – tone deaf – so its better for everyone.
