Welcome back to the MY NYC Panel blog hop! I skipped Day 2 yesterday – my apologies. Today I have three makers to share with you, and some amazing projects using the My NYC Pillow Panel from Gotham Quilts! Let’s check out what Swan, Lissa, and Emily have been up to!
Swan Amity Studios
First up we have Swan, from Swan Amity Studios and this beautiful table runner! I love the way she achieved such a painterly effect on her apple appliqué using Inktense pencils. And her free motion quilting has me swooning. Make sure you visit her blog post for the pattern and more information on her process. And check out her pattern shop while you are there. My Must Make list just got a little bit longer.
The Darling Dogwood
Emily from The Darling Dogwood is next, and I adore her projects! And I totally understand the need to make a pizza rat pillow. I believe there has been a proliferation of pizza rat pillows this week. (Oscar has mentioned he might like one with a squeaker.) I love how excited her son looks in his special NYC t-shirts! Click over to her blog to see his sweet face.
Lovingly, Lissa
Last, but certainly not least today I have Lissa, from Lovingly, Lissa! The Pizza Rat got big attention in her house, too! I swear, I find the rat a little disturbing, but I that everyone is so into it. Check out Pizza Rat, living his most stylish life.
I’m so pleased with all of these fun projects! I hope you are enjoying the My NYC Panel blog hop as much as I am!
