Angie at GnomeAngel is hosting a weekly sew along this year. I’m a devotee of both Angie and the Quilter’s Planner, so I’m in.
Block #2 is Doves in the Daylight, by Michelle Bartholomew. I was a little put off by the number of half square triangles in this block – 32! – but they went together very easily, thanks to the directions for making 8 at a time included in The Quilter’s Planner.
I stuck with my Alison Glass fabrics for this one, using a low volume background, and blue for the rest. I’m very happy with the block.
