My fabric is all cut out! Isn’t it pretty? I decided to use the Michael Miller Cotton Couture line, and it has such a wonderful hand. It is silky and soft, such a pleasure to work with.
I can’t wait to get to stitching these beauties together.
Since I have no self control, I stitched my binding pieces together. I always piece them together on the diagonal, to reduce bulk in the binding.
After it was all together I decided I’d have to piece in some of the scraps of colors A & B, just for a little zip. Solid binding is boring.
If you want to join in, Yvonne has the directions for the quilt along here.
I love that you went ahead and stitched your binding and added some of each fabric for zip.
I’m very excited to see fabric being cut up and prepared for the quilt! I really like that you already put your binding roll together (hmmm, maybe I can do that today myself!). 🙂
