For day 4 of the Sew Good Blog Hop, I’m happy to introduce you to Laura Piland of Slice of Pi Quilts. I’ve been admiring Laura’s work for years, and I was delighted when she agreed to be part of the blog home for Sew Good. If you have missed my previous posts, I have gathered up a group of makers to celebrate the release of Deborah Fisher’s fabric line Sew Good with Windham Fabrics. You can find out more at Deb’s website, Fish Museum and Circus.
Check out this amazing project Laura made using Sew Good! I’m infatuated. It might be time to get my circle cutters out again. You need to go to Laura’s blog post to see the full quilt. While you are at Laura’s blog, make sure you check out her other designs, too. I imagine everyone has seen Exploding Star by now, but my personal favorites are Hydra and High Tide. I really admire Laura’s ability to come up with clever ways to work smarter, not harder.
Make sure you hop along to all of the other makers we are featuring this week. It is always so interesting to see how many different ways one fabric line can be put to work.
