I am over the moon to be kicking off the Sew Good Blog Hop today! I got to know Deborah Fisher through her Fish Museum and Circus Thingimal pincushions. They caused a commotion at the first QuiltCon I attended, and by the time I got to her booth, she had sold out. I’ve been stalking her online ever since. You can imagine how delighted I was to discover that we had been put into a peer group together during a class with Stacey Bloomfield. When Deb told us about her new fabric line, I was so thrilled for her, and I was excited to play with her fabrics. I weaseled my way into making a quilt for her fabric line launch, and then offered to help with a blog hop.
Sew Good is some of the most fun I’ve had with fabric in a long time. The colors are bright and lively, and the motifs make me giggle. Plus, Deb’s Boundless Binding Stripe is pure genius. Just cut on the lines, and you can choose between polka dots or scallops. It just depends on which side is up when you attach it to your quilt.
This is my Rotation quilt, made using a fat quarter of each print, along with yardage for the background. This is the third version I have made of this pattern, and I think it is by far the most successful. You can purchase a pdf version of the pattern in my Etsy shop.
The Sew Good Blog Hop will be running from today, 2/1/22 until 2/12/22. I will be highlighting a new maker every day. Make sure you visit each of their blogs and see what they have made. We have a great group of talented designers here.
Where can you get your hands on Sew Good? Of course, I hope your local quilt shop has the whole line. I know for sure that you can get it directly from Deb at Fish Museum and Circus. I also know that Gotham Quilts has ordered the whole line. It should be hitting shops during the last week of February.
Thank you so much to all of the participating designers. And special thanks to Windham Fabrics for providing us all with such beautiful fabric to work with. Most of all, thank you, Deborah Fisher, for letting me set up this blog hop. It’s such a pleasure to work with you.

The binding print is so clever! What a treat to get to work with Deb’s fabric line; your quilt really showcases the prints beautifully.
Thanks so much! That binding fabric is so clever. I’m going to have to stock up on it.
Wonderful quilt and that binding is so much fun. Congrats on another fun hop!
Thanks, Kathleen!
I LOVE how you did the label here! I pre-ordered Deb’s fabric and can’t wait for it to arrive!
Thanks so much! I’ve been having fun with my labels lately.
