Welcome back for the second day of the blog hop! Thank you to Becca, Denise, and Gail for sharing their beautiful quilts yesterday. We have two more quilters sharing projects today:
Pamela Boatright — Pamela Quilts
Anne Wiens — Sweetgrass Designs
All of the fabrics used in these projects were provided by Island Batik. Thank you so much for supporting our creativity! The Freedom Collection has been a dream to work with.

Quilts of Valor runs a block drive every year, for those of us who aren’t up for the challenge of making an entire quilt top. This year the program is running through the end of August, and the block is a floating Ohio star. You can find a tutorial here. If you have a few minutes, why not whip up a block and send it in? So far they have collected 9,420 blocks!

I love the colors in graphic gems.
Hi Jen! These fabrics are just perfect for a QOV. The reds are just so nice and RED, not a pink hue in sight. ~smile~ Roseanne
Thank you for hosting. I didn’t know there was a giveaway, I’ll go update my post now.
This is a great project. Thanks for sharing. I like the graphic gems line
Electric Desert is on of my favs but I just love the look of batiks!
I love any of the Island Batiks–such great colors!!
I like Seedlings and of course Freedom!
The Electric Desert is so colorful! I hope they get lots of blocks for QOV
I’d really like those fabrics, just the same as the Norwegian flag.
Island Batiks are great to work with. The colors are so rich.
This collection is actually my favorite! I love red, white, and blue quilts.
I love red, white and blue quilts.
Sunny side up line caught my eye!
The freedom line is great and the colors are fantastic. I have my strips, yardage and pattern all set, just have a few others in the queue for QOV to do first. Seeing the inspiration in the blog hop makes me want to skip to the Island Batik!
